Producer prices in Germany rose 0.3 pct in December from November and rose 5.2 pct from a year earlier, the Federal Statistics Office said. Economists polled by AFX News had forecast a rise of 0.2 pct month-on-month and an increase of 5.1 pct year-on-year. Germany's producer price index in December was at 112.8 from 112.5 in November and 107.2 in December last year (2000 equals 100). In the full year 2005, producer prices were higher 4.6 pct from 2004.
